Outdoor clothing and camping equipment retailer Yeomans Outdoors is one of the largest independents in their field and had been owned by the Yeomans family for over 100 years.
With the help of BlueSky Corporate Finance, Stuart Greenwood and David Gravells along with three of the existing management have bought 100% of the share capital from Peter Yeomans.
Stuart and David have a wealth of experience in the retail sector and are aiming to grow the business even in the current difficult environment for retail. All of the signs show point to the fact that more and more people are developing a thirst for the outdoors and holidaying in the UK which allowed the Co-operative bank to support the business plan. Legal advice was given to the management team by Lupton Fawcett of Leeds.
BlueSky CF having spotted the opportunity negotiated a great deal with the vendors, nurtured an excellent banking deal and even crunched all the numbers for the business plan.
